Hmmmm.. this is a strange question, the attacker taking the shot may be attempting to play the ball either under or between the the GK’s legs. It is a fine line between skill and ability. I would think that if the GK is standing full pads front, making a solid wall, then yes, dangerous. However, it is very seldom to see a stationary GK.
Ah, you may have missed the word “prone”–meaning the GK is laying on the ground. Very often attackers try to force the ball through the body or pads of a GK and aren’t “looking for an opening” at all, or there is none to be found. That’s the dangerous action we’re trying to prevent.
