1. The Missing MCP Piece: Rectangle of Responsibility
I've been working on this for a hot minute, and I'm so glad to get this into your brains before the next UK/EUR season starts. β If you've already purchased the Mission-Critical Positioning course, it's included in your lifetime access. 3. Attentional Blinks, Panoramic Vision and Improving Focus
This Huberman Lab podcast on ADHD has a gem for all of us looking to improve our focus. Huberman explains how the dopamine reward of noticing something you're looking for causes us to miss the next events in what are called “attentional blinks”.
However, we can train ourselves to dilate our field of view and access “open monitoring”, which reduces these attentional blinks.
Just sit comfortably and intentionally perceive a wider area, including your periphery, and notice the sights, sounds, and sensations around you without trying to analyze or label them. Huberman suggests doing this for 17 min a day.
Give it a shot and see if this changes how much information you feel you can process in high-rate times like circle play. I'd love to hear about your results!β
