Happy WhatUpWednesday, everybody! Good to see you all, and I hope that you're having a fantastic day. I am Keely Dunn of FHumpires, and you are the third team, and we are doing something a little different today. Yes, indeedy. So, let me tell you what we're doing today.

We're not doing clips, no. We're also not doing 12 Days of Christmas, that's happening in the server. And that's, you know.

Today we are going to be producing a course together. Yes. So this show itself will not be available, will not YouTube as a replay by default. So. If you were thinking, man, I could really use a course, an intensive, as I like to call it, because everything with me is intense, an intensive about the control elevator, how to manage a game effectively, soup to nuts, everything you need to know.

Well, you're going to get it for free right now, right? What a deal. What's going to be happening is I'm going to record it because I find I do my best talking when I'm talking with you. So instead of it just being me trying to record to absolutely nobody, the fact that I can actually, uh, listen to your feedback and get ideas from you and all that sort of thing makes an incredible difference to the quality that I'm able to put out, so you will be part of the course

production process. As we conclude, I am going to take down the replay. I am going to edit the video. I'm giving myself a week. I will edit the video and it will be available as a fully formed entity, much in the same fashion as Mission Critical Positioning. And I almost said it, I almost said it very clear.

Okay. So I'm glad you're going to enjoy this because Taff, this is going to be, this is a real sort of, this is a how to umpire thing. And I actually got really excited last night when I was building the scenes and I was going through the material because I put things together in a way that I hadn't ever tried before.

And I'm really excited to hear how it goes with all of you. Some people have seen, if you, uh, watched the Umpiring Rhapsody talks, either live or you saw the replay, parts of that are in here, but I've tried to shake it up a little bit, and the way that I'm piecing it all together, I hope, is gonna be really…

I don't know, just something that for some of you might be a, uh, the, the breakthrough keywords reframing, whatever you want to call it, that helps you with your control elevator. So how about I do the announcements and then I'll do the Black Friday thing and then we'll get into the course. How does that sound?

You're a below out You know, you don't have to talk to yourself like that. I bet you're quite a lot better than you think, but I think what you'll get out of this most is not necessarily about improving your umpiring, but understanding why umpires are starting to change the way that they're managing games, because there is a real shift going on.

In the top levels especially, and filtering the way through, and we'll go through the reasons for that, you know, in a little bit. Are we climbing on the ladder? We're getting it. We're getting into the elevator. We are absolutely on that elevator tip. Ladders are just, they're rickety and they feel like, I don't know, with that much work, I just want to keep going up.

I don't want to have to come back down and then go back up again. I don't know. Okay, here we go. Uh, we talked about this last week, and I wanted to reiterate. I've updated the screenshot. You can see that the, uh, the funding is coming along nicely for the Help a Hockey Friend. And I did have the opportunity to talk to Ayanna and get some more information, which still is very important in this situation, not to, uh, to share publicly at this time.

What I can tell you is that everything that Ayanna Um, has laid out in this GoFundThem is absolutely from the heart a very important,

I don't know how to say this right.

This is, this is a life changing, uh, event going on for this person. And they're somebody I know and care about and would really like to see, oof, getting this out too. I would really like to see them get the help that they need. So if you have, uh, that spirit in you, this is a member of our hockey community and I would just really love us to just, on faith, band together and help this person out.

And I still have to I think the noise cancellation's gonna cancel it out, but I still have to clap because I'm very excited for you. And much more to come, and I know that Boo is gonna be chomping at the bit because if I were Boo, I'd be like, Oh. Oh, you think you're all that now? I gotta beat you. And I I'd be I'd be trying to get straight to level two if I could.

I know, but we weren't friends on Facebook at the time. So this was the one I was able to pull off and I didn't see any. But I think, I think it's great. I think it's cute. And you're like, you're, you're clearly into your cycling thing. So congratulations. Um, I also want to congratulate this individual. This fantastic human being. Confetti. Again. This is Jassa Randhawa, and Jassa was one of, uh, the umpires on our team, Jamal and I, when we umpire managed the under 18 national championships, and he's just achieved his regional, which is pretty much, like, uh, level two.

We only have, uh, we, we might have individual panels in different areas because our hockey is so different across the country, but, um, Jassa is definitely on the track to, uh, to getting up to as a level three, which we call a Canadian rating.

And I'm very excited for this uh, young humans progress. And he was a lot of fun to coach this summer. So yes, I know Ali was there. Ali knows just what a fantastic individual he is. And he's, he's in the server, but he's never said anything. So go in and find his username and like tag him up and try to get him going.

Because I want everybody to be participating in the, uh, In the server. And yes. Thank you very much. Okay.

Uh, I want to thank these individuals. Whoops. Um, yeah, we're just gonna confetti everybody. Why not? Matt Retson joined Green on Sunday.

Matt, I am so pleased that you've taken the plunge. And we've already, you know, you've already connected with some of the Scottish people on the server and I'm sure there's going to be more of that to come about and that sort of thing and I can't wait to get to know you and help support you on your journey.

And not only Matt, but Rupert! Hi! Joined Yellow! He might have been in it for a little while and then he ducked out and now he's back. Rupert is Irish and he's gone over to America. He has a green card now, so unfortunately he's lost forever. I'm just kidding. It's gonna be okay. It's gonna be okay, Rupert.

I'm just saying that for myself. It's gonna be okay. Rupert's, you know, it was completely understandable given his life circumstances and he was shifting around and moving countries and didn't know what he was doing and, and this is what you can do in our membership if you get injured, if you hit a really rough spot and you don't know if you're gonna hockey anymore.

Um, something like that. You can step out of the membership and then step back in later. Of course, I love people to stay as long as, as humanly possible, because the, the more you're there to invest in yourself, in everybody in the community, your, your gains, with a Z, get bigger. But, uh, I think it's really great that, uh, we were able to entice them back.

Cause we're just so much fun. So thanks for joining up Rupert and can't wait for that. So, um, yeah, he's got a whole new, he's, he's actually been really helpful in the server at translating for us sometimes. So I think he knew what the advancing thing was in addition to a few other people who did some good Googling.

So yes, Rupert can be our local. American translator, because he's, he's bilingual. He speaks hockey and he speaks American field hockey.

Wah, wah. Right. Okay.

I'm going to put a list up in the server as to what those items are. Unfortunately, I can't include the duffles because I'm already losing, um, many shirts on the few that I have left.
