This intentional breakdown is very subtle, but Adam Kearns trusted what he saw and went for the big penalty corner upgrade. The defender who gave up the foul uses his back leg to try to delay the taking of the free hit and so infringes on the self-pass that’s being quickly taken by the attacker.
